Why I chose to make this costume:
When I was asked to perform at the Chamber for New Year's Eve and found out that the theme was Asian, I just had to come up with a new costume.

How I made this costume:
I already owned black vinyl and used it to make a short kimono with large sleeves. The brocade trim was fabric left over from my Orion costume, and worked out great with the PVC. The underbust corset was bought and altered, and the tassles and strings complete the look.

My thoughts on this costume:
I really enjoy this look, and would like to wear it to a convention one day, since the sleeves act as huge pockets as well (super practical for con use!).
