Why I chose this character:
This costume has been clouding my head for about 1 year and a half before I was finally able to make it. After meeting lovely Meg and learning about her love for fairies and wings, we decided to create a faerie group together.

How I made this costume:
I made everything on the costume myself, except for the wings and the armored chest pieces (Jenny helped me with them). It consists of an armored bodice, skirt, gauntlets and feather shoulder pieces with tons of hand-painted sheers. The beading that spills from the wig, shoulder pads, the feathers from my sides as well as the skirt took 2 weeks to complete on it's own, and I hand-styled a red wig with blond strands and made custom jewelry to go with everything. I designed my wings and Meg bent and covered them, then I embellished them by hand.
