Why I chose to make this costume:
This costume was inspired by the way I have drawn fantasy artwork for years. I was really excited to have had the opportunity to make something I've only put on paper, so many times before.

How I made this costume:
The skirt, wrap, belt and flowing fabric strips were easy enough to create, it was the beading and jewelry work that took up so much time. I had a great time making the sheer flower and all of the necklaces and hanging beading though! The end prodduct is really a simple yet elegant ensemble, and if I have the time in the future, I'd love to elaborate on this idea.

My thoughts on this costume:
I just want to thank my model, Paula for wearing this costume at my Fashion Show, as well as Rich McCant for taking such wistful images of it, and Lilly for letting me borrow her perfect wig for this outfit!
