I wasn't going to put this outfit in my costuming gallery because it's technically my companys :P, but Ziggy's photos turned out so well, it was my design, and Tristen and I spent so much time making it that I thought it deserved the spot!
For a convention in Monterrey we needed an extra costume to showcase, so we decided to make a lolita outfit for a model to wear. Based on one of my designs, Tristen and I worked together on creating this ensemble, which consists of a button up blouse, fully boned waist cincher, cupcake skirt, Hime style wig, and accessories like a neck corset and headpiece. Everything was made with flexibility in mind - this outfit should fit people of different sizes. A lot of not so noticable detail work went into this outfit as well, such as herloom stitching all over, hand made pleats and ruffles, hand threaded ribbon lace trims etc.
At Sakuracon I modeled the lolita outfit for a night photoshoot and it was so fun and comfortable to wear!
