Why I chose this character:
Since I made my first Sharon Apple costume, I've been planning this one. This outfit is very pretty and stylish in my opinion. I really loved the cut of the red shirt, arm warmers and the nice puffy skirt.

How I made this costume:
I used pretty Casa satin for the skirt that had the perfect color and a great shine to it. To achieve a contrast in material use, I chose plain red cotton for the shirt. First I made the skirt out of an over-, and underskirt, then the top with the help of a dress form and a pattern that was altered completely. The belt and arm warmers were made without patterns. I had to re-style my wig and make new eyebrows, as well as make the earrings and acquire red shoes.

Thought on this costume:
I enjoyed wearing this costume, even though not many knew the character I was dressed up as.
